Dear Arbutus, John, Larry, and Violet, Your mother was very special to us because she was a friend of my mother. We enjoyed talking to her at the Eash Reunion. I got to know her better recently when I called to ask her what she remembered about my mother and her brothers and other Eash relatives. She was a remarkable lady with a great sense of humor. My sister Elmira and I visited her this Spring and enjoyed her story about her sawdust doll. Elmira identified with her about not getting many dolls, so she gave Rose a doll. You have out love and prayers in the loss of your mother. Cherish the happy memories that you have of time spent with her. We loved her too. We will remember the laughter and the great visits with her when she lovingly spoke of her family.
