Condolence From: Alan and Susan Mankamyer
Condolence: When we first moved to Davidsville, we didn't know many people. It didn't take long to learn that Virgil and his deli on the corner were one of the genuine cornerstone of this little town. We began going into the store just to buy milk or bread, but we soon felt welcomed to sit at the table in the back at lunchtime, where we listened to stories and jokes. We always received a welcoming smile from Virgil (and a hug for Susan!). He was like a father figure to us, someone who we looked up to and wished we could be like when we "grew up" - someone respected and kind, and a loving family man. Virgil, God rest your soul, and we will see you again someday!

Condolence: Although we only got to know Virgil for several years, we always enjoyed being around him. He was a kind and helpful friend, very pleasant. He has gone much too soon and will be forever remembered.
We extend condolences to all of his family.

Condolence From: Bonne Lange (nee Blough)
Condolence: The words just won't come, how do you say goodbye to someone so dear as your Dad's last brother on earth? He looked just like my Dad, and felt like my Dad when he hugged me, and pinched me just like Grandpap Blough did (well, maybe not quite as hard!)? There's no one else quite like him, and he was a treasure of love for his wife and family, and a great friend to the community at large. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. All my love to Thelma and the girls and their families. I'll be seeing you soon.
