The Nativity

I remember many Christmas that Uncle Ray shared with  our family, but one  stands out in my memories.  It was quiet a long time ago.  Our son Paul (PT)  and his cousin Tommy were still in middle school I believe.  Our family had traveled from Orlando,Fl  for the  holiday and  Christmas day we were all at  my parent's (Tom and Anna May Walko) house. There was Mom and Dad, Wayne(my brother) his son Tom, our son Paul, Grandma Walylko,Aunt Alice and Uncle Ray.   Uncle Ray had taken the  boys mule ridding severa times and they had realy loved it and knowing that he was going to be there that  day they wanted to get him something special.  I found a native american nativity. Uncle Ray love native american history, customs and artifacts and was very skilled at  the  making of many items related.  He seamed to really like the set and the boys were very happy.   The boys are grown now but  they stll remember those rides and  the visits with Uncle Ray.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Jane and the family at this very sad time.

Love

Charmaine
