Saturday nights
This is far from a sappy story, but I so vividly remember Grandma and Grandpa watching us on Saturday nights some times when Mom and Dad would go out to dinner or a movie. I just remember all of us sitting in that little sun room, cuddied up on the small couch and recliner and watching Hee-Haw. I can still see Minnie Pearl, Roy Clark and the legendary Buck Owens with that blue and red guitar. I can hear us all laughing and just being happy. We were so blessed to grow up in such a warm and loving family, and I hope that I can be half as successful in creating those same memories for my children. I love you and will miss you Grandma.
