ROBERTS – Esther V. (Shaulis), 89, Jenner Township, went home to be with her Lord and reunited with her beloved husband April 10, 2014, at In Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born Dec. 20, 1924, in Jenner Township, daughter of Earl and Stella (Daniels) Shaulis. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clair H.; son, Richard; grandson, Joshua; granddaughter, Jennifer; brothers, William, Richard and Robert; sister, Louise Pritts; and special sister-in-law, Emma Weimer. Survived by children, Arthur J., York; Jeffrey L., married to Joy (Thomas), state of Indiana; Brenda E. Roberts, Jenner Township; and Brian A., married to Joyce (Bittlebrun), Jenner Township; grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Rod, Jill, Brooke, Brad, Abbey, Mark, Cayla, Adam, Zach and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Livvy, Cole, Brody, Brock, Olivia, Hayden and Sierra and baby Cobes is on the way; sister, Fern Whipkey, Berlin; numerous nieces and nephews; and special neighbors, Dan and Toots Truscott. Faithful member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Jennerstown. An employee of the former Nancy Carol Garment Factory, Boswell, for 15 years. Esther enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
