Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Heffley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Marcia Kelly
Condolence: Still hardly a day goes by here at JAHA when we are not reminded of Ken and his lovely assistant, and the gifts of all kinds that you both shared with us. We treasure the historic photos he brought in, but also the memories of his droll sense of humor. Time will never fade those.

Condolence From: Marcia Kelly
Condolence: It has been a privilege to work with Ken and Eileen over the past two decades, on several projects related to his father, Russell's, photographic records of Johnstown. Ken knew that those images had more than just basic historical value- they led everyone who viewed them to remember, and talk about happier times. That's why Ken didn't just share them with museums and libraries. It was typical of his thoughtfulness that he and Eileen would often pack the car full of photos and haul them out to nursing homes, to brighten the days of people who would not have a chance to see them otherwise. While he worked to preserve his father's legacy, Ken and Eileen created a legacy of their own- that of two kind, generous souls whose efforts brought smiles and happy memories to thousands of people. All of us at the Heritage Association will remember Ken, and we send our love and prayers to Eileen and his family.

Condolence: Eileen and Ken's family, I will always remember Ken as a soft spoken, kind, gentle and a generous caregiver to his mother. There is no doubt that the gardens in Heaven will be cultivated and manicured with beautiful wild flowers. Eileen you will be in my thoughts and prayers as you enter a very sad time in your life. With sympathy Diane Davitch
