JOHNSTON – Mary Eileen (Schwinabart), 89, Jenners, died Aug. 24, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 23, 1921, in Keyser, W.Va., daughter of Frederick B. and Rose Anne (Kenny) Schwinabart. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Alfred “Pie” Johnston, on June 20, 1997; grandson, Roy E. Johnston Jr.; brothers, Allison, John, Bernard and James; and son-in-law, William Ryan. Survived by children, Bernard Blamble, married to former Madeline Palazzi, Lewisburg; Paul Blamble, Jenners; Roy Johnston, Proctorville, Ohio; and Virginia (Johnston) Ryan, Jennerstown; grandchildren, Mary Jean, married to David Hall, Morgantown, W.Va.; Susie, married to Ali Ayoub, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Matthew Johnston, Proctorville, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Katelyn and Mya Hall and Mazen and Samantha Ayoub; sister, Margaret Moran, Deep Creek, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Pennsylvania Retired State Employees, Goldenaires, 55 Speeders Senior Citizens and Retired State Nurses Association. Retired in 1982 after 32 years as an LPN for Somerset State Hospital. A private family service will be held. Committal, Somerset County Memorial Park.
