GINDLESPERGER – Lois K. (Stahl), 89, Carpenters Park Road, Davidsville, died May 31, 2014. Born May 20, 1925, in Ferndale, daughter of David and Ada (Howard) Stahl. Preceded in death by parents, and sister, Esther Miller. Survived by husband of 65 years, Wilmer D. “Wimpy”; children, Joyce, Johnstown; Mark, married to Diann Atkins, East Kingston, N.H.; and Janice, married to Alaric Moody, Lewistown; granddaughter, Jennifer, married to Kraig Barraclough; great-grandson, Gabriel; and sister, Audrey, married to Owen Robertson, Baltimore, Md. Member of St. David’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davidsville, where she assisted with the bloodmobile. She had been employed by former Penn Traffic Co., Johnstown, and retired from the Conemaugh Township Area High School cafeteria. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. David’s Church, the Rev. N. Gregory VanDyke, officiating. Interment, Stahl Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, would be appreciated.
