Jacquelyn J.  Shaw (Albright)
SHAW – Jacquelyn J. “Jackie” (Albright), 67, Jennerstown, died March 30, 2010, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. Born Dec. 20, 1942, in Philipsburg, daughter of Wallace R. “Red” and Loretta J. (Kyler) Albright. Preceded in death by parents and beloved son, Terry, on Sept. 27, 1988. Survived by husband of 48 years, Harold E.; sons, Barry Scott, married to Lorrie Maust, Berlin; and Mark, and fiancee, Katherine Lepley, Jennerstown; grandchildren, Courtney, Cody, Hunter and Parker; and brother, Gary R. Albright Sr. A 1960 graduate of the former JBJ Joint High School, where she participated in band. After graduation, Jackie worked for the U.S. Government in Washington, D.C., for several years. She formerly was a teacher’s aide at North Star Elementary School, Jennerstown. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who first and foremost enjoyed her family. She also was an avid reader. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Pastor Chuck F. Hildbold Jr., officiating. Interment, Philipsburg Cemetery. Memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 333 E. Carson St., Suite 441, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15219, would be appreciated.
