Paul D.  Blough
BLOUGH – Paul D., 80, Boswell, went to be with the Lord Oct. 15, 2015, at his home. Born April 17, 1935, in Jenner Township, Somerset County, son of Harry C. and Freida (Berkey) Blough. Preceded in death by parents and siblings, Twila Zimmerman, Richard Blough, Dorothy Roth, Robert Blough and Emmie Bock. Survived by wife of nearly 62 years, Joyce L. (Dawson) Blough; children, Sarah married to David Spangler, Millersville; Gerald, married to Joyce (Slosky), Boswell; Christine, married to Dennis McDowell, Woodbridge, Va.; and Heidi, married to Andy Bell, York Haven, Pa.; grandchildren, Stacie, and husband, Chad; Jeremy, and wife, Brittany; Terri, and husband, Butch; Jon; Kaylee; Aimee; Megan; Emma; and Rylie; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Caleb, Tobi, Laray, Kirsten and Lance; and brother-in-law, Warren Bock, Harrisonburg, Va. He attended Johnstown Mennonite School. Former employee of Cable Plumbing & Heating and was a self-employed farmer. Member of Kaufman Mennonite Church, Davidsville. Along with his wife, Joyce, he enjoyed going to local nursing homes to play music and sing with the residents. He also enjoyed going to the ocean, farming, playing dominoes and being with his son, Gerald. Paul was a quiet man who loved the Lord. Friends received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Kaufman Mennonite Church with Pastors Keith Yoder and Wes Yoder presiding. Arrangements by Hoffman FuneralHome & Cremation Services, Davidsville. Flower deliveries should be sent to the church by 3 p.m. Saturday.
