Mary C.  Mazzarese (Marone)
MAZZARESE – Mary C. (Marone), 89, Hollsoppple, died September 30, 2016. Born May 9, 1927 in Hollsopple. Daughter of John and Josephine (Olivera) Marone. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Frank, Vito, and Anthony Marone and sisters Jennie Antenucci, Ida Marone and Rose Butchko. Survived by husband of 59 years Samuel V. Mazzarese; children Theresa M. married to Douglas A. Meyers, Arlington, VA; Michael A. and wife Sandra J., Jerome; Joseph J., Jerome and John A. and wife Donna L., Baltimore, MD; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1945 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Lifelong member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Society and Ladies Guild. Also a member of the Legion of Mary. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8 Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville where a vigil for the deceased will be held 2PM Monday. Funeral Mass 10AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Voytek, OFM Conv., celebrant. Committal St. Anne Cemetery, Hollsopple.
