Melvin W.  Drummond
DRUMMOND – Melvin W., 51, Seward, died July 11, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born November 18, 1964 in Johnstown. Son of Richard and Shelby (Burk) Drummond. Preceded in death by wife, former Heidi D. Golden, August 3, 2010, sisters Wanda Ritenour and Vicky Bishop and brother Michael.
Survived by parents, Hartville, Ohio, mother and father-in-law, Ellen and David Golden, daughters; Lacey D. Thrasher, Damascus, Ohio, Kristy M. Drummond, Strasburg, Ohio and Kara L. Drummond, New Florence; 6 grandchildren; Dwight, Madalyn, Gaige, AnnaMarie, Ronald and Jackson; sister Lonnie Dye; brother Rick, and numerous nieces, nephews and other in-laws. There really isn't a way to encompass with words the man Melvin was. He loved spending time with his grandkids and all things outdoors. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone .He was a man full of integrity and love for his family. His fantastic stories and infectious grin will be greatly missed. Viewing from 11AM until time of service 1PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road , Davidsville, Rev. Sam Coughenour, officiating. Interment Blough Mennonite Cemetery.
