THOMAS – Aldine F. (Moon), 82, Jenner Township, died peacefully Jan. 25, 2016, at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. Born June 14, 1933, in Jerome, daughter of Owen and Twila (Keim) Moon. Preceded in death by parents and mother-in-law, Edith Barger. Survived by husband of 63 years, Donald E.; daughter, Joy, married to Jeff Roberts, North Carolina; sons, Scott, married to Sara Follmar; and Bradley, married to Amy Zatalava, both of Jenner Township; grandchildren, Abbey, Mark, Adele, Seth, Alyssa and Kaylea; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Madeline, Daniel, Aden and Audrina. Sister of Gerald and wife, Helen, Conemaugh Township, Somerset County; Dale, and wife, Debra, Jenner Township; and Rodney, Johnstown. A 1951 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville. Lifelong active member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren. Prior to graduating from nursing school in Somerset, she was employed for several years at Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory. She was last employed at Church of the Brethren Home, Scalp Level. Following retirement, Aldine was a sales consultant for Longaberger baskets. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell. Viewing also will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Maple Spring Church, Pastor Guy Myers, officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E201, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222, would be appreciated.
