Homer G. Singo
SINGO – Homer G., 84, Jenner Crossroads, went to be with the Lord Nov. 21, 2015, at his home. Born March 30, 1931, in Jenners, son of the Rev. Frank and Elizabeth (Lehman) Singo. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Gwen Faith; and brother, Paul Singo. Survived and very much loved by wife of 66 years, Thomasine J. (Johnson) Singo, whom he married Feb. 19, 1949; children, Jacqueline Singo, at home; Jeffrey, married to former Nancy Miller, Silver Spring, Md.; and Cheryl, married to Rob Burba, Germantown, Md.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Frank, married to former Sarah Sanner, Kingwood; sister, Betty Singo, Cape Coral, Fla.; and son-in-law, Sam Faith, Brownsville, Pa. A 1948 graduate of Boswell High School. Former employee of Boswell Lumber Co., Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown, and Goodyear Chemical Co., Niagara Falls, N.Y. Was owner and operator of Homer Singo Concrete, Silver Spring, Md. Attended Boswell Church of God. Member of Cement Masons Local 891. Homer enjoyed golfing, traveling, camping and listening to gospel music. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Tom Singo and the Rev. James Davis, presiding. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
