Life Story for Jerome R. "Jerry" Seese

SEESE – Jerome R. “Jerry,” 91, Johnstown, formerly of the Davidsville area, passed away peacefully Sept. 30, 2015, at his home. Born June 13, 1924, in Johnstown, son of Harvey and Ruth (Eva) Seese. Preceded in death by parents; grandson, Robert Kachmar Jr.; one brother; and one sister. Survived by wife of 69 years, Rose (Tisack) Seese, married on May 11, 1946; children, Sharon L., married to Robert Kachmar Sr., Johnstown; Rick Seese, married to Althea (Werner), Pittsburgh; and Roger S. Seese, Virginia Beach, Va.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Jean Maxwell, Windber, and Elva Newberry, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. A U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Retired employee of former Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown. Former member of St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
