SARVER – Cody “Slug” A., 19, Boswell, died June 15, 2015, as a result of an automobile accident. Born Nov. 17, 1995, Somerset. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Ken Sarver, John Fritz and Harvey Shippey; aunt, Vicki Durst; uncle, Thomas Sarver; and stepbrother, Joseph Matkoskey. Survived by mother, Linda, married to Brian Berzonski, Jerome; father, Allen Sarver, Jennerstown; sister, Kayla Sarver, Duluth, Minn.; stepbrothers, Jeffrey Lee Matkoskey, Acosta, and Allen Sarver Jr., Wisconsin; stepsisters, Stacey Lease, Somerset, and April Snyder, Quecreek; grandparents, Emma Shippey, Acosta; Wilma and John Durst, Finzel, Md.; and Shirley Fritz, Boswell; special friend, Samantha Gessner, Stoystown; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A 2014 graduate of North Star High School. Cody was a security officer for Capital Asset Protection. He enjoyed working on cars and riding fourwheelers and motorcycles. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Sam Coughenour, presiding.
