LEHMAN - Willard R. “Willie”, 74, Tire Hill, passed away April 18, 2015 at his home. Born February 5, 1941 in Johnstown. Son of the late Kenneth and Pearl (Eash) Lehman. Survived by wife of 48 years Sandra (Stephenson) Lehman; children Ryan and wife Heather (Beale) Lehman, Holloppple; Brett Lehman, Fairhope and friend Michelle Pringle, Souderton; Karla (Lehman) and husband T.J. Knepper, Somerset and Kent and wife Misti (Foor) Lehman, Fairhope. Grandchildren Tayllor, Ellena, and Elijah Lehman; Dyllan, Kenzie and Devin Bungard and Kamden and Kendal Will Lehman. Brother of Esther (Lehman) and husband Marlin Rupp, Archbold, OH; Erma (Lehman) and husband Ray Blough, Bedford and Elmira (Lehman) Hull, Harleysville. A 1959 graduate of former Johnstown Mennonite School. Willie was a 30 year employee of Lehman Plumbing & Heating. Owner of Willie’s Home Improvement for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his garden and orchard, going to auctions and hunting and fishing. Many memories were made during family trips to Ole Bull State Park, Potter County and Ocean City, NJ. Willie was a lifelong follower of Jesus and member of Kaufman Mennonite Church. He died following a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. There will be no public viewing. Private interment will be held at Thomas Mennonite Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 4-7PM Saturday, April 25, 2015 and from 2-3PM Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Kaufman Mennonite Church. A service celebrating his life will be held 3PM Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Kaufman Mennonite Church with Rev. Keith Yoder and Rev. Wes Yoder presiding. A fellowship meal will follow the service. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Willard’s memory may be sent to Johnstown Christian School, 125 Christian School Road, Hollsopple, PA 15935.
