PYLE – Janice E. (Beltrami), 68, Acosta, died unexpectedly Jan. 23, 2015, at home. Born Aug. 26, 1946, in Jerome, daughter of Kenneth L. Beltrami and Esther (Shawley) Beltrami-Durst. Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, Sol Durst; husband of almost 35 years, Lowell E. Pyle, on Jan. 1, 2008; and good friend, Waldo Fritz. Survived by children, Paula (Leverknight) Shaffer, and companion, Dennis Sahupala, Pittsburgh; Christine (Leverknight) Trich, and companion, Charles Bryant, Jenner Township; and Lowell Michael “Mike,” married to Cherree Thomas, Boswell; stepdaughter, Lorri, married to Ronald Maurer, Jenner Township; grandchildren, Bruce Shaffer Jr., John Michael Shaffer, Ashley Nichole Trich, Michael Anthony Trich Jr. and Katie, Taylor, Zebbie and Bethlyn Maurer; great-granddaughters, Tez and Anna Nichole; sister, Jane, married to Dewey Fritzman, Fort Valley, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Sylvia; and many close friends. A 1964 graduate of former Jenner-Boswell High School. Member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church and recently attended Mount Laurel United Church of Christ. Also a member of Acosta Volunter Fire Department, advisory board for cosmotology department at Somerset County Vo-Tech and Jenner Township Board of Elections. Owner-operator of Janice Pyle Beauty Salon for more than 40 years. Janice was a loving person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Dr. Joseph M.
