THOMAS - Floyd E. 49, of Acosta, died Jan. 15, 2015, at the "In Touch" Hospice House. Born June 6, 1965, in Somerset, son of the late Floyd and Audrey (Sarver) Thomas. Survived by wife of 27 years, the former Karen M. Fisher; children Brett, at home, and Ashley and companion Ted Smith, Jenners; and grandson Mordecai. Brother of Samuel, Roytown; Gloria and husband Joe Cabinaw, Somerset; Norma and Audrey, Meyersdale; Sara and husband Dave Bowman, Salisbury; Daniel and wife Lori, Quecreek; Jeanette and husband Glen Romesburg, and Shirley, both of Meyersdale; and David and wife Angela, Somerset. Avid hunter and fisherman. Past employee of the former Somerset Foundry. Viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell. The Rev. Kurtis L. Frampton officiating.
