SPEICHER – Margie Ann, 76, Church of the Brethren Home, Windber, formerly of Boswell, went to be with the Lord peacefully Jan. 12, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center, with her family by her side. Born Jan. 21, 1938, in Gray, daughter of John and Etheleen (Kimmel) Speicher. Preceded in death by parents; beloved grandson, Johnny Blough; sisters, Betty Beaver, Linda Jarosick and Fay Kerlin; brothers, Ronald, Clair, John, Clifton, Ernest, Lloyd and Robert Speicher; two infant siblings; and longtime friend, Greg Policicchio. Survived by daughter, Beverly, married to Martin Blough, Hollsopple; and grandchildren, Erika married to Gregg Sleek, Greensburg; Brittany, married to Andy Darr, Hollsopple; and Courtney and Jacob Blough, Hollsopple. Greatly loved and will be sadly missed by great-grandchildren, Baylee and Braxtyn Sleek; brother, Ray Speicher, and wife, Dorothy, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Way Hope Christian Fellowship and ILGWU. Longtime employee of the former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory and Greg’s Tavern, both of Boswell. She was an avid North Star School sports and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Margie was a very devoted, caring, giving and loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her spunky, kind-hearted personality led everyone who met her to greatly love and care for her. She loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished at heart by all of her loved ones, until they meet again! Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Rob Rummel presiding.
