PHILLIPS – Alice O. (Ochsenhirt), 88, Davidsville, formerly of Allison Park, died July 18, 2014, at Laurel View Village. Born May 28, 1926, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Raymond J. and Anna Marie (Lang) Ochsenhirt. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 58 years, Robert A., May 16, 2006; and brother, Raymond Ochsenhirt. Survived by son, Keith A. Phillips, and wife, Susan, Burr Ridge, Ill.; daughter, Cheryl A., married to Eugene A. Pituch, Davidsville; grandchildren, Meghan and Michael Phillips, Burr Ridge, Ill.; Stephen Pituch, and wife, April, Ponchatoula, La.; Alicia Pituch, Manassas, Va.; Andrew Pituch, and wife, Katlyn, York; and Taissia Pituch, Davidsville; great-grandchildren, Natalia, Alexander and Theodore Pituch; and nieces, Beverly Byrne and Barbara Koehler, both of Pittsburgh, and Diane Lischner, Little River, S.C. A graduate of Oliver High School, Pittsburgh. She was a medical secretary for Dr. William Zillwager of Pittsburgh for many years. Longtime member of Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw, and current member of Westmont Presbyterian Church, Johnstown. Alice was a wonderful seamstress who also enjoyed knitting, swimming, reading her daily devotionals and tending to her yard and rose bushes. She also was a very caring person who sent many cards and letters to friends and relatives. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Homes, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where service will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Craig A. Miller, presiding. Viewing also from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw, the Rev. Dr. J. Bruce Byers, presiding. Interment, Allegheny County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
