My Mom was the most kind and loving mother and grandmother a person could hope for.From the time mom went into assisted living John and I would go over every Sunday and take her to lunch and her usual "trip through Walmart" THEN we had to stop for ice cream because a Sunday wasn't a complete visit till we had our ice cream. Those were some of the best quality times we had with mom. She said her friends always asked her"well, what do you talk about all that time?" and she would answer, anything and everything, we just like each others company. It was never a bother and never a chore to visit every Sunday. My mom gave her whole life for her family and a Sunday of our time was a small payback. Moms face would light up when John and I would tell her about things we were doing in the church. Her life was centered around God and she wanted to make sure her family was all going go Heaven also. Knowing that when she passed she took Gods hand and He welcomed her Home. What a reunion there must have been in Heaven yesterday when she arrived!!!!!!!!! Go in Peace mom, knowing we will all join you someday!
