Life Story for Minnie Ida Mattaliano (St.Clair)

MATTALIANO – Minnie Ida (St. Clair), 102, Jenner Township, Somerset County, died April 4, 2014, at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. Born Nov. 13, 1911, in Jenner Township, daughter of Clifford W. and Erma (Smith) St. Clair. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 48 years, Paul, on June 4, 1990; daughter, Erma G. Perigo, on Feb. 8, 2011; sisters, Mary Lou and Donna Lee St. Clair and Arlene “Doll” Rebrick; and brothers, William, Robert, Wendell and Rahe. Survived by daughter, Paulette Flick, Jenner Township; son, Terry Mattaliano, married to Sally Brant, Michigan City, Ind.; son-in-law, Joseph Perigo Jr., Boswell; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lifetime member of Mount Laurel United Church of Christ (formerly Beams). Also a member of DAR. Minnie worked at the Westinghouse Plant in Derry during World War II and was a lifelong photographer and family historian. At Minnie’s request, there will be no visitation.
