Life Story for Mary S. Stanga-Moldoon (Ladosky)

STANGA-MOLDOON - Mary S. (Ladosky) Stanga-Moldoon, 95, of Fleming Island, Fla.,formerly of Quecreek, died March 31, 2014, at Haven Hospice, OrangePark, Fla. Born April 28, 1918, in Boswell, a daughter of Joseph D. Sr. and Mary (Stulack) Ladosky. Preceded in death by parents, first husband George Moldoon in 1952, second husband August Stanga in 1992, infant son George Moldoon, infant daughter Georgeann, son Paul Moldoon, granddaughter Paulette, sisters Barbara Myers, Anna Tressler, Elizabeth Trax and Rose Holotanko, and brothers George, Tony, John and Joseph Jr. Survived by son Joseph G. Moldoon, married to Marilyn Johnson, with whom she resided in Florida, six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and cousin Mary (Beckman) Knox of Johnstown. Retired seamstress for the former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and"Unite Here," formerly the ILGWU. Former member of the Boswell Post 461 American Legion Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed reading, gardening and the last several years in Florida. No visitation; however, family and friends are invited to a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday at All Saints Chapel, Acosta. Rev. Father Justin Ratajczak OFM Conv. celebrant.
