BOROSKY – John L., 84, Jenners, died Aug. 9, 2012, at home. Born April 15, 1928, in Jerome, son of Roman John and Rose (Mroczkowski) Borosky. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Katherine Groves and Marion Grebeck; and brothers, Edward, Charles, Chester, Joseph, Henry and Stanley. Survived by wife of 61 years, the former Betty M. (Koshewitz); children, Linda, married to Rolf Schmelzer, East Hampton, N.Y.; John, married to Vickie DelSignore, Jenner Township; Michael, married to Barbara Coughenour, Somerset; and Brian, married to Paulette Hegadus, Jenner Township; grandchildren, Angela, Nicole, Jeremy, Jessica and Michael Jr.; and great-grandson, Kaedyn. Also survived by sister, Jennie Berkey, Houston, Texas, A 1946 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School, Davidsville. Navy veteran of World War II. Retired employee of the former Johnstown Works, U.S. Steel Corp. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Jenner Rod & Gun Club and USWA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed caring for his lawn and garden, and especially spending time with his family. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday.
