WILLIAMS – William J. “Bill”, 88, Johnstown, died November 18, 2020 at Windber Medical Center. Born September 9, 1932 in Boswell. Son of Charles and Mildred M. (Holsopple) Williams. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Walter “Zeke”, Richard “Sonny”, Lowell, Robert and Gary Williams and son-in-law John Horner. Survived by wife of 60 years Betty J. (Vinosky) Williams; children James C. and wife Patricia, Kimberly J. Horner and Beverly A. Miller, all of Johnstown and Donald M. and wife Rhonda, Cincinnati, OH; granddaughter Tahlyn Ann Miller; siblings Elizabeth married to Robert Winters, Ligonier; James and wife Sharon, Wilmington, NC and Connie married to Tom Magdic, Ligonier and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the military police. Retired employee of Penelec. Member of Westmont United Methodist Church, St. Clair Tremont Club, Jenner Rod & Gun Club, the Russian Club, Altoona Consistory Jaffa Temple and Cambria Lodge 278 F&AM. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. Due to public health concerns, a private viewing and funeral service will be held. Interment Beam Cemetery, Gray with military honors.
