William E. Tipton, 57, Tipton Rd., Boswell, died December 22, 2013 at home. Born July 5, 1956 in Somerset Son of William C. and Margaret (Blair) Tipton. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Janet Singo and Barbara Bodziak. Survived by children Amanda Tipton and wife Traci Little, Burlington, NC, Laura Tipton, Chambersburg, Jennifer married to Bradley Lindow, Crestview, FL and their daughter Savannah and Corey Tipton, Somerset, fiance Donna Keyser, Boswell, brothers-in-law Ronald Singo, Boswell, and Joseph Bodziak, Boswell, nephews Bob Bodziak and wife Debbie, Boswell, Jim Bodziak, Tire Hill, Steve Singo and wife Angie, Boswell and Russ Singo and wife Alicia, Mt. Pleasant. A 1974 graduate of North Star High School. Past employee of Union Carbide, Latrobe. Member of Somerset Christian Fellowship. Bill enjoyed gardening, working on cars and fixing furniture. He was also a very good cook and handyman.
