MARAUGHA – William “Bill”, 88, Boswell, died July 30, 2021 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born February 14, 1933 in Indian Head, PA. Son of William, Sr. and Susan (Benco) Maraugha. Preceded in death by parents; son, Mark Michael Maraugha; sisters, Betty Ann Rega and Helen Marie Matthews; sisters-in-law, Helen Kerch, Theresa DeLuca and Janis Maraugha and brother-in-law Frank Kerch. Survived by wife of 39 years, Catherine “Kash” (Leshok) Maraugha; sons, Jeff and wife Barb, Virginia Beach, VA and Dale, Normalville, PA; brother, Robert, Shepherdstown, WV and brother-in-law, Dominic “Chic” DeLuca, Boswell and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a 1951 graduate of Connellsville High School. A highly decorated 21-year veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. His many medals received, included the Purple Heart. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and The Game Wardens of the Vietnam War. Visitation from 6-8PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held. Funeral Mass 10AM Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Rev. Fr. Aron Maghsoudi, Celebrant. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
