HORNER - Timothy L., 64, of Thomas Mills, passed away October 24, 2023 at his home. Born May 30, 1959 in Johnstown. Son of Jack and Wanda (Kauffman) Horner. Preceded in death by mother; grandparents, Leon and Edna Kauffman and Harry and Elvera Horner; uncle, Tom Horner; daughter-in-law, Brandy Horner and brother-in-law, Mick Jordan. Survived by father, Jack Horner and wife Joyce; wife of 10 years, Sonya L. (Wilhelm) Horner; son, Travis Horner; 9 grandchildren; stepchildren, Johnny Dail and wife Rachael, Brian Dail and wife Amber and Laura married to Wesley Strawn; siblings, Barry Horner and wife Rose and Christine Jordan and a large extended family, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and pet dog Zoe. Tim was a 1977 graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech and attended Conemaugh Township High School. He was a coal miner for numerous years and retired from North American Hoganas after many years of service. Member of Centennial United Methodist Church. Tim loved anything with a motor and was an avid car enthusiast. Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday and from 10AM until time of service 11AM Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville with Pastor Sarah Adkins and Pastor Wes Yoder presiding.
