BUDZINA – Stephen J., Sr., 79, of Friedens, went to be with the Lord at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 7, 2022. Born June 13, 1943 at the family home in Boswell. Son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Smith) Budzina. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Andrew and Martin and sisters, Helen, Rosie, Dorothy, Margaret and Veronica. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Bonnie (McKelvey) Budzina; children, Stephen and wife Mylinda, Robin married to Jeff Fleegle and Shawna Reiber; grandchildren, Mandy Budzina, Courtney married to Ben Miller, Cheyanne married to David Bocsy and Aleigha and Brody Reiber; great-grandchildren, Mariana, Amara and Xavier Miller and sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” married to Ronald McKelvey and Mary Ann married to Gregory Stumpf. Steve was a retired coal miner and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. He had a great love of animals and enjoyed fishing, hunting, early morning walks on the beach, tinkering in the garage, camping and spending time with his beloved family.
