YODER – Sharon L. "Shari" (Little), 73, Hollsopple, went to be with Jesus January 26, 2021 at Somerset Hospital. Born August 29, 1947 in Pittsburgh. Daughter of Paul G. and Winifred (Klein) Little. Preceded in death by parents and step-mother Laverne Little. Survived by husband Carl R. Yoder; children, Kimberly R. married to Glen Showalter, Hollsopple, Paul D. married to Lisa (Grunden), Etters, PA, and Joel W. married to Angela (Carr), Davidsville; grandchildren, Tessa, Morgan and Madison Showalter, Caleb and Brooke Yoder and Nicolas and Christopher Yoder; sister, Janice married to Kurt Lyle, Warren, PA and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Shari was a retired Registered Nurse for Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She and Carl met while in nursing school and were married for over 52 years. Member of Thomas Mennonite Church, Hollsopple and Jerome Volunteer Fire Dept. Shari volunteered at her church, the fire hall and St. Francis Sharing & Caring and coordinated and traveled on over 15 medical brigades to Honduras. She enjoyed riding on roller coasters, traveling, reading and being with her furry pets. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a wonderful cook who always had room for 1 or 5 more at the table. Shari was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family, friends and dog Holly.
