BERKEBILE-ADAMS - Selba Jean (Harvey), 81, Acosta, died June 4, 2020 at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin. Born January 13, 1939 in Kitzmiller, MD. Daughter of Huey A. and Madeline I. (Cornell) Harvey. Preceded in death by parents; first husband Donald E. Berkebile on August 19, 1989; stepchildren Alan Adams, Peggy Sue Blackner and Mark Adams. Survived by husband Marlin E. "Ed" Adams, Jr.; children Donald L. Berkebile and wife Cindy, Brownsville; Scott A. Berkebile and husband Dave Besong, Ashtabula, OH and Lisa A. Berkebile, Greenville, NC; grandchildren Mindy and husband Bobby Kovacs, Benjamin Berkebile, Aleshia Koontz and Aubrie Koontz; great-grandchildren Penny, Renae, Noah, Kaiden and Liam; sister Marlene K. Reid and husband Ronald, Quecreek ; stepson Edwin Adams and wife Marsha, Middletown and son-in-law Duane R. Koontz, Acosta. A 1957 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. Retired Greeter for Wal-Mart of Somerset after 27 years of service. A longtime member of Acosta Church of God and current member of Christian Community Church, Boswell. Jean was a very caring and loving person who enjoyed being around people and socializing. She also enjoyed shopping but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. A private funeral service will be held Monday. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
