MAGAZZU-PHEASANT – Sarah Jayne (Cole), 84, Rosewood Personal Care, Richland, formerly of Boswell, died December 1, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born May 15, 1936 in Hyasota. Daughter of John R. and Virginia M. (Stern) Cole. Preceded in death by first husband Anthony “Nin” Magazzu on February 14, 2007 and brother Peter Richard “Butch” Cole. Survived by daughter Virginia “Ginny” married to Michael Jamieson, Davidsville; son Carmelo Magazzu, Boswell; grandchildren Robert Eller married to Yvonne (Miller), Boswell and Suzanne married to James Sarver, Berlin; great-grandsons Brody, Jude and Cole Eller; sister of Jac Cole, Ohio, Shirley married to Russell Harris, Virginia, Sandra married to John Mattie, Gray and Ruth married to Robert Fritz, Somerset. Jayne was a 1954 graduate of former J.B.J. Joint High School, Boswell. Co-owned and operated former Magazzu’s Tavern, near Gray. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping.
