SHAWLEY – Sandra J. “Sandy” (Bair), 74, Hollsopple, passed away April 10, 2022 at her home. Born December 1, 1947 in Johnstown. Daughter of Edwin P. and Mildred A. (Holko) Bair. Preceded in death by parents and sister Cindy Bair. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Lloyd R. “Bud” Shawley, Jr.; sons, Dave Shawley and wife Danielle Reinhardt, Doylestown and Doug Shawley and wife Erica, Cresson; siblings, Judi Lapic, Edwin Bair, Jr. and Linda and husband Alan Baker; grandchildren, Liam Shawley and Kayla Wasil and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy was a 1965 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was employed for a number of years at Siemon's Lakeview Manor, Somerset in the dietary department. She loved reading psychological thrillers, particularly Michael Slade and Dean Koontz, and caring for and riding her horses and was known to take care of any sick animal. She also enjoyed crocheting and cooking, when she could. Viewing from 5-8PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where a service will be held 11AM Thursday with Pastor Sarah Adkins presiding.
