Obituary for Ruth N. Friedline (Mishler)

FRIEDLINE - Ruth N. “Gas Pedal” (Mishler), 90, Jennerstown, went to be with the Lord, March 28, 2021 at home. Born February 15, 1931 in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Clyde, Sr. and Stella (Thomas) Mishler. Preceded in death by parents; step-father Henry Yoder; brother Clyde Mishler, Jr.; sister Janet Mostoller; husband of 63 years Denver L. Friedline; son Barry L. Friedline and son-in-law Tim O. Dunmyer. Survived by daughter Nancy L. Dunmyer, of Richland; daughter-in-law Virginia R. Friedline, of Jennerstown; granddaughter Christina M. Constantino and husband Jeffery of Hooversville; grandson Jonathan D. Dunmyer of Windber; great-granddaughter Amber M. Dunmyer; brothers Marlin Mishler of Hollsopple and Alan Mishler and wife Penny of Cleveland, OH and brother-in-law Richard Mostoller of Hollsopple. Ruth was a 1949 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Lifetime member and retired Deaconess of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, Hollsopple where was also very active in the Women’s Fellowship. She was a longtime member and secretary of the 7th Society of Farm Women. She enjoyed word find puzzles, traveling and camping. The family wishes to thank the caregivers who were with her over the past four years. They would also like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Windber Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s memory may be sent to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA, 15963. Due to the ongoing pandemic, no public viewing will be held. A public graveside service will be held 11AM Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Somerset County Memorial Park with Pastor David Bennett presiding.
