ZIMMERMAN - Rose Eileen (Shetler), 83, of Hollsopple, died March 18, 2023 at her home. Born September 18, 1939 in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Jacob and Ella (Hartzler) Shetler. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Dorothy Hersh and son-in-law Tracy Howe. Survived by husband of 65 years, Donald P. Zimmerman, Sr.; children, Donald, Jr. and wife Cindy, Hollsopple; Donna Howe, Bolivar; Dawn and husband James Paul, Lilly; Deanna and husband Timothy Varner, Brush Valley, PA; Dana and husband Timothy Brendlinger, Hollsopple; Dee and husband William Crusan, New Florence and Dale Zimmerman, Latrobe; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Michaels, Davidsville; Berena Verba, Davidsville and Reta Alwine, Hollsopple and sister-in-law, Linda Fye, Greensburg. Rose was an employee of former Jonny Jax Garment Factory, Hollsopple and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Windber. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting.
