KENNELL – Ronald H., “Pud”, 83, Boswell, passed away April 7, 2022 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born March 3, 1939 in Boswell. Son of Robert M. “Nick” and June (Horner) Kennell. Preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by wife of 55 years, Alva (Kabler) Kennell; children, JoAnn married to John Zoodie; Ronald married to Nicole (Lease) Kennell, Lori Supanick and special friend Kirk and Michael Kennell; grandchildren, Joseph J. Zoodie, Courtney Johnson and husband Derek, Shane, Kyle and Alec Supanick and Emily Kennell; great-grandson, Brantley Johnson; sister, Gail married to Richard Horner; sisters-in-law, Katie Kabler and Jody Kabler and husband Peter; brother-in-law Bob Kabler and numerous nephews. Ron was a 1958 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. Retired power line worker for IBEW Local 126. Lifetime member of Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club and Greater Ferndale Sportsmen’s Club. Ron loved being outdoors especially fishing for bluegill at Cumberland Dam. He also enjoyed having a beer with his friends at Fatboy’s Saloon. Viewing from 2-6PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a service will be held 10AM Monday with Pastor Brian Simmons presiding. Interment Horner-Mt.
