ROBERTSON - Robert G. “Bob”, 84, Sipesville, died October 31, 2018 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born May 25, 1934 in Jenners. Son of Harry W., Sr. and Lavina C. (Farling) Robertson. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 53 years Bonnie L. (Cyga-Neatrour) Robertson on June 26, 2010; brothers Harry, Jr., Jim and Harold and sister Lelia Trice. Survived by children David, Jennerstown; Cindy married to Lew Moldovan, Myersville, MD; Tim and wife Gail, Somerset and Michelle married to Doug Lambert, Stoystown; grandchildren Jessica married to Brett Lojacono, Josh Boozer, Meagan and Emily Lambert and Collin Robertson; great-grandchildren Hayden, Ava, Carter and Hadlee; sisters Margaret Coulter, Jennerstown; Delores Shaffer, Jennerstown; Carol married to Joe Poltrack, Johnstown and Lyn married to Larry Bock, Sarver; brother Ed Robertson and wife Bev, Durham, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1952 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. A U.S. Air Force Veteran of Korean War. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for several local coal mining companies. Bob enjoyed attending the races at Jennerstown Speedway, gardening, reading, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing from 5-8PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a service will be held 11AM Saturday with Rev. Sharon Fox presiding. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery with military honors by Windber Post 4795 VFW Ritual Team.
