LOHR - Robert J., 73, of Hooversville, died August 26, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 11, 1950 in Johnstown. Son of Dayton J. and Mildred M. (Wain) Lohr. Preceded in death by parents; infant sister, Patricia Gale Lohr and sister Wendy Barnhart. Survived by siblings, Larry Lohr and wife Gloria of Hooversville, Jacqueline Cook and husband John of Stoystown, and John Lohr of Hooversville; brother-in-law William “Pete” Barnhart of Somerset; close friend Sharon and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. Bob was a 1968 graduate of Shade High School and a 1972 graduate of Penn State School of Aerospace Engineering. He earned his pilot license before he received his driver’s license. Bob enjoyed life and was a self-employed crop farmer for many years. He was a member of Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Hooversville. Friends received from 10AM until time of service 11AM Tuesday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church with Pastor Nila Cogan presiding. Interment St. Thomas Cemetery.
