LEHMAN – Robert D. “Bob”, 100, Thomasdale, died August 1, 2022 at his home. Born June 10, 1922 in Thomas Mills. Son of Tobias and Jennie (Thomas) Lehman. Preceded in death by parents; wife Evelyn M. (Griffith) Lehman; brother, Lester and sisters Katherine Lehman, Mary Mintmier, Dorothy Koontz, Florence Williams, June Hemminger and Bernice “Bud” Spory. Survived by daughters, Linda and Carol Lehman; sons, Duane Lehman and wife Sylvia and Larry Lehman; three grandchildren, Don Lehman, Mary Earnest and husband Don and Roberta Kelly and husband Barry; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Yoder; sister-in-law, Shirley Griffith and special friend Lois Snyder. Bob served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II from September 1942 thru 1945. He was an airplane engine mechanic serving in Wharton, England. He was the owner and operator of Lehman’s Garage in Thomas Mills for many years. Member of Benscreek Lutheran Church. In his spare time, Bob liked to recycle and loved to go fishing.
