LEVERKNIGHT – Ralph G. “Zeke” “Pepsi”, 85, Hollsopple, passed peacefully August 9, 2021 at his home. Born June 4, 1936 in Johnstown. Son of Charles and Gladys (Holder) Leverknight. Preceded in death by parents; infant grandson, Steven Leverknight; infant brother, Donald; brothers, Charles, George, Karl, Robert, Harold and Ronald and sisters, Ruth McCullough and Betty Hill. Survived by wife, Ruth M. (Zimmerman) Leverknight; children, Anne Ireland wife of Michael Rozgonyi, Pittsburgh; Rick married to Kim (Erb), Hollsopple and Alan married to Trish (Horner), Boswell; grandchildren, Kara Schmid and husband Steve, Carrie MacDonald and husband Shay, Karlie Zeglin and husband Ryan, Kelsey Dininny and husband Josh, Matthew, Stephanie and fiancé Levi Feathers, Andrew, Priscilla and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Pepper, Olive, Laynie, Lauren, Danny and Sadie and brother, Paul, Columbiana, OH. Ralph was a member of Kaufman Mennonite Church, Davidsville and Somerset County Oldtimer’s Baseball Association. Formerly employed by Rolling Rock Club, Ligonier and retired as a self-employed truck driver. He was well known for his love of baseball and would often be found at a local high school or college baseball game where he made many friends and acquaintances. He also never missed the AAABA baseball tournament in Johnstown. He enjoyed helping at the Farmer’s Market in Johnstown and listening to Country Gospel and Bluegrass music. The family would like to thank the staff of Windber Hospice for their compassionate care given to Ralph. Viewing from 1PM until time of service 3PM Monday at Kaufman Mennonite Church, Davidsville with Pastor Keith Yoder and Pastor Michael Dean presiding.
