GEIYER – Ralph A., 93, of Gray, passed away December 4, 2021 at his home. Born October 2, 1928 in Lovely, PA. Son of Ralph C. and Elizabeth (Allison) Geiyer. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 70 years, Dorothy M. (O’Haver) Geiyer on February 2, 2018 and sister, Lena Nagy. Survived by, children Mark Geiyer, Gray and his friend Dolores Panek; Connie married to Ron Beachy, Fort Hill and Lorraine married to Brad Ott, Gray; grandchildren Sheri married to Ken Charlton, Berlin; Kendra married to Kevin Volk, Jennerstown; Leanna married to Steve Weimer, Fort Hill; Roni Langley, Fort Hill and her friend Brian Burkardt; Kirsten married to Justin Zimmerman, Glenshaw and Kelsey married to Dr. Matt Duray, Gray; great-grandchildren Marissa married to Thomas Bakke, Max Volk, Alex Charlton, Ben and Eli Volk, Connor and Riley Weimer, Collin and Leeym Langley and Mabel and Emmie Duray; great-great grandson, Corrigan Bakke; sister, Grace Wisen, Painsville, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph was a retired employee of GTE. Longtime active member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, near Gray and lifetime member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed boating, camping, fishing and wintering at Cedar Creek Golf Club in Georgia. The family would like to thank UPMC Somerset Hospital and In-Touch Hospice for the wonderful care given to Ralph. A funeral service will be held 2PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell with Rev. Dr. James Stobaugh and Rev. Dr. Joseph Beer presiding.
