ORLANDI - Palma A. (Flaim), 93, The Patriot, Somerset, formerly of Jerome, died June 29, 2020 at The Patriot. Born December 29, 1926 in Jasa Hill, Somerset County. Daughter of Enrico V. and Mary L. (Carrara) Flaim. Preceded in death by parents; husband Rudolph Orlandi on May 22, 1974; two infant sisters Julie and Virginia and brothers Enrico and Bruno. Survived by son Deacon Jack and wife Colette, Bellefonte; daughter Rosemarie married to David Livengood, Sipesville; grandchildren Renee Orlandi and Christopher Orlandi and wife Jennifer, Angela Geary, Erin married to Christopher Siverd and David Livengood and wife Natalie; great-grandchildren Adalyn, Lydia, Mataia, Gianna, Brezlan, Alia, Kyra, Eli, Rosie, Isabella, Lilith and Rayne; sisters Vera Dipre and Rose Flaim and sister-in-law Rebecca Flaim, all of Jerome and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1945 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Active member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville. Past employee of former Marion’s Store, Jerome and Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Jerome. She also delivered newspapers for the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat for over 9 years and worked at Conzatti’s Italian Market, Johnstown. Palma was active in politics and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and having everybody stop by her house for a meal and some coffee. Her life was our legacy, her love was her gift. The family would like to thank the staff of The Patriot for the wonderful care given to Palma.
