MATKOSKEY – Nick L., 57, Acosta, died unexpectedly November 19, 2018 at home. Born July 18, 1961 in Somerset. Son of John S. Sr. and Faye E. (Gettings) Matkoskey. Preceded in death by parents, brother, John, Jr., brothers-in-law Ricky Wilkins and Jerry Holiday; nephew, Joseph Matkoskey:sister-in-law Sheri Naylor; mother and father-in-law Joanne and Harry Tunstall, and beloved dog, Cocoa. Survived by the love of his life for 26 years, his wife, former Annie Tunstall and beloved daughter, Sabrina, at home. Brother of Judy Holiday and Pam, married to Brian Costea, both of Kimmelton; George, married to Kim Dobrowolski. Chester, VA; Peggy Wilkins and David, married to Jenny Koba, both of Acosta and Tina, married to Jeff Shaffer, Friedens; sister-in-law, Kasey Matkoskey-Waite, Friedens; brothers-in-law, William Tunstall and wife, Julie, Friedens; Harry Tunstall, and wife, Christine and Joseph Tunstall and wife Hope, both of Jerome and sister-in-law, Lori Yoder and husband , Rick Somerset. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece and goddaughter, Gabbie Tunstall. 1980 graduate of North Star High School. Member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, Jenner Rod and Gun Club and A.F.S.C.M.E. 26 year employee of Penn Dot and was an avid Harley Davidson rider and hunter. Viewing will be held from 2PM until 8PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell.
