DONIO – Martha Joan, 81, Kennett Square, PA, passed away June 21, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Born April 12, 1940 in Jenners. Daughter of Joseph and Dominica (Calderone) Donio. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Joseph and sister, Antoinette Shadron. Survived by sisters, Mary Jane Canonico, Kennett Square and Nancy Lee married to Kenneth Gowarty, Jenners. Also survived by a niece, a nephew and many aunts, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Martha enjoyed watching I Love Lucy and The Three Stooges on television. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together. She loved her purple nail polish and many varieties of perfume. For 28 years, Martha attended Handi-Crafters in Coatesville, PA where she made shoe box kits for service men. She was always so happy bringing home her paycheck of 14 cents every Friday and proudly giving it to her mom. We will all miss her very much. Viewing from 6-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held.
