WEIMER - Marlin E., 90, Geistown, fomerly of Jenner Township, died July 9, 2019 at home. Born March 10, 1929 in Acosta. Son of Ernest G. and Mabel (Baker) Weimer. Preceded in death by parents, 1st wife Eileen V. Young, May 12, 1992, son Ryan L., April 13, 2018, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by wife of 25 years, Carol Weimer; children Rona, married to William Hemminger; Craig, married to Rebecca McCall; Wade, married to Nancy Borelle and Gail, married to Jack Hollis; stepchildren Sheri Mosholder, Susan Obarsky and Stacy Keklak; numerous
grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister Iona Holder. Graduate of former Boswell High School, class of 1947. Army Vet of Korean War. Member of Roxbury Church of the Brethren , where he actively served as an usher, deacon and church treasurer for many years. Retired employee of AMOCO Oil Company, with 29 ½ years of service as a truck driver/terminal operator. Viewing 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 10AM until the time of service 11 AM, Friday at Roxbury Church of the Brethren. Pastors James Braunns and Brian Simmons officiating. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
