DEAL – Margaret M. “Peg” (Rosey), 77, Hollsopple, passed away April 19, 2024 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born December 3, 1946 in Johnstown, the daughter of Herbert F., Sr. and June (Yoder) Rosey. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Herbert, Jr., Milton and John Rosey, Sr.; brother-in-law, John Sullivan and sister-in-law, Diane Rosey. Survived by husband of 57 years, Dean E. Deal, Sr., daughters, Shiela Szapka, Dina married to Brian Fulton and Tina Homyak; son, Dean, Jr. and wife Tracy; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris “Jean” Sullivan; sisters-in-law, Carole Rosey and Marsha Rosey; best friend, Linda Manges and pet dog Buddy. Peg was a former seamstress for several local garment factories and for Fleetwood Folding Trailors, Somerset. Member of Ferndale Sportsmens and New Baltimore Sportsmens. She enjoyed hunting, baking, doing wood crafts, sewing and playing bingo and cards.
