BERKEY - Lucille Marguerite (Saylor), 95, Laurel View Village, Davidsville, formerly of Jennerstown, died January 12, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 29, 1925 in Somerset County. Daughter of Fred and Laura Prudence (Speicher) Saylor. Preceded in death by parents; husband Willard Martin Berkey, August 9, 1992; by her brothers, Owen Saylor and Duane Saylor; and her sisters, Thelma Neatrour, Evelyn Spory and Genevie Friedline. Survived by loving family, her daughters, Marsha Hunter, married to William Hunter, Duncansville, PA; Kaye Ellis Stone, married to Donald L. Stone, Jr., Conroe, TX; and Susan Stotler, Conroe, TX, married to Allen Todd Stotler. She leaves surviving grandchildren, Matthew Hunter, Sara R. Hunter, and Adam Hunter; Michael Panek; Jason Panek and wife Kristen; Lee Panek and wife Sarah; and Jocelyn Stotler. Surviving great grandchildren are Stephen Hunter, Nicole Whetstine, Norah and Katerina Panek; Mia, Micah and Jonah Panek; and Semaj Brown. She was also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Berkey. Lucille was a graduate of Boswell High School. She was a resident of Jennerstown for 60 years prior to moving to Laurel View Village and a member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jennerstown. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 20, 2021 at 5:30 PM from the Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church on their Facebook page. Interment to take place at Mt. Zion cemetery.
