In 1958, she married her husband, George, and they spent 39 years together until his death in 1997. Most of her teaching years took place at Friedens Elementary School, where she taught 5th and 6th grade and held the head teacher position. A special thanks to all her caretakers and the Heartland Hospice Staff, who became our friends and second family. A private service will be scheduled at a later date. Inurnment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Boswell. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you would do what mom did her entire life - honor and serve the Lord. You can do this by volunteering or donating to your favorite charity in her name, (Helping Hands Food Pantry or any other), or just take the time to visit family and friends, send a card, call or help them in any way. It’s especially important at this difficult time to reach out to others who are lonely, sick or have mental decline. By doing these things, you will keep the memory of LuAnn alive!
