LAPP – Lorraine G. (King), 75, Jerome, passed away peacefully August 6, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born November 22, 1945 in Somerset. Daughter of Stanford T. and Margaret P. (Hemminger) King. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Michael Lapp; brothers, Carl, Denver and Jay King and sisters, Hilda Vallies, Janet Blough, Charlotte Schaffer, Alverta Blough and Delores King. Survived by her beloved brother Raymond King and his friend Tina and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine was owner/operator of Hairmasters Salon, Jerome for many years. She enjoyed fishing, and traveling to different bodies of water in search of whatever secrets they held – shells, fossils and the many fish. She also gathered numerous different plants to decorate her yard. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Beam Cemetery, near Gray.
